HOW- TO LIGHTENING BLEACH

1. Prep

• Put on protective clothing (old t-shirt, towel, color cape) and cover surrounding area.
• Put on gloves.
• Comb hair to eliminate tangles.
• Section hair into 4 equal parts.
• Apply petroleum jelly around hairline and top of ears.

2. MIX

• Put on gloves before mixing.
• Carefully remove nozzle from SPLAT OXIDE bottle, while pointing bottle away from face and eyes.
• Carefully pour half the content of SPLAT LIGHTENING BLEACH packet into the SPLAT OXIDE bottle.
• Recap Splat bottle, point bottle away from face and cut tip.
• Place gloved finger over open tip and gently shake for 1 minute.
• Pour remaining lightening bleach powder into bottle, recap bottle and gently shake for 1-2 minutes or until mixture becomes creamy.

3. Application

• Apply to clean, dry hair.
• Apply immediately after mixing.
• Keep bleach 1/4 inch off the scalp.
• Take small sections to ensure even saturation.
• Double check no areas were missed and massage through with glove hands fingers for even distribution.

• Timing
• Processing time may vary depending on hair type and goal.
• Check hair every 10 minutes to view lightening progress.
• MAXIMUM PROCESSING TIME IS 30 MINUTES!
  **Immediately after using bleach mixture remove nozzle from bottle, point away from face, rinse and discard as bottle can build pressure and burst.
  

Rinse & Wash Hair

Rinse hair with lukewarm to cold water.

Shampoo thoroughly.

• Dry Hair

• Dry and style as desired.

*If next step is to add a bold shade be sure to completely dry hair.

*If hair is not lightened to desired shade with one application a second application may be needed. Make sure to wait at least 14 days between applications.

HOW- TO COLOR APPLICATION:
1. Prep Before Coloring

• Put on protective clothing (old t-shirt, towel, color cape) and cover surrounding area.
• Put on gloves.
• Comb hair to eliminate tangles.
• Section hair into 4 equal parts.
• Apply petroleum jelly around hairline and top of ears.

2. Shake Color

• Gently shake formula, in application bottle.

3. Application

• Cut tip from applicator bottle, point bottle away from face when cutting.
• Apply color formula generously, take thin sections to ensure even color saturation.

4. Process Time

• Process color for 30 minutes.
• Check a small section of hair every 10 minutes to monitor progress.

5. Rinse Hair
   **Rinse hair separately and avoid rinsing in shower as color may transfer to body and surfaces.

• Rinse with cool or lukewarm water till water runs clear.
• Cold water helps lock in color.
• Shampoo with a sulfate free shampoo.
• Use an old or dark colored towel when drying hair.

6. Dry Hair

• Dry and style hair as desired.

CAUTIONS:
Hair color can cause allergic reactions.

IMPORTANT: Follow the usage advisory and safety warnings.

Before you apply color:
- Perform a preliminary skin irritation test 48 hours before applying color.
-Perform a strand test.

DO NOT USE IF:

• You have already had a reaction to a hair color product.
• You have a sensitive, itchy, or damaged scalp.

You have overly processed, bleached, or chemically compromised hair.
