Step #1: Bleach
Mix:
Combine Splat Lightening Bleach with the Splat Oxide Bottle. Remove the nozzle tip, place a finger over the open nozzle, and shake for 1–2 minutes until creamy.
💆🏻♀️ Apply:
Use on dry, unwashed hair immediately after mixing.
Apply ¼ inch from the scalp, ensuring all strands are evenly saturated.
Divide hair into sections for even application. Work quickly to prevent uneven processing.
⏱️ Bleach Time :
Check progress every 10 minutes by wiping a strand to see the color lift.
If not light enough, reapply and process for up to 30 minutes total.
Avoid over-processing—do not exceed the time limit.
🚿 Rinse & Wash:
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and shampoo to remove all bleach residue.
Dry Hair:
Ensure hair is completely dry before applying color.
Note: If hair is not light enough, a second bleach application may be needed. Allow at least 1–2 weeks between bleach sessions.
Step #2: Apply Color
Protect your clothes with a towel or plastic cape.
Apply petroleum jelly around your ears and forehead to prevent staining.
Section the hair you want to dye for precise application.
Apply color generously, avoiding the scalp. Do not rub the dye into the skin.
Process for 45–60 minutes (add 15 minutes for thicker hair).
Rinse with cold water to help lock in the color until the water runs clear or slightly tinted.
Dry hair completely with an old towel.

How to dye your hair

Pour the bleach powder into the applicator bottle. Remove the tip from the cap, seal tightly, and shake well
SHAKE

Mixture evenly to each section, staying 1/4" from roots. Make sure hair is fully saturated. Roots lift quicker, so apply bleach to the roots last
