TIP #1: USE THE SPLIT SCREEN FEATURE

If you aren't totally convinced on the color you're trying on, there's a neat feature you should know about: split-screen capabilities allow you to see what a color looks like on only half of your hair, so you can get a better idea of the difference it makes in your look.

TIP #2: FIND YOUR BEST LIGHT

Have you ever put on make-up at your vanity and thought it looked simply amazing, only to step outside and realize it's NOT? It's all about lighting. If you're in dramatically dark or overly bright lighting, you may notice that colors do not appear as intended. Find good lighting and color will display more accurately!

TIP #3 FIND YOUR COLOR

Adjust color brightness in the right hand side of Try-On Studio to adjust based on your starting color. Example: if you have dark hair then decrease the brightness for your starting point. You will get the most bright hue by prelightening your hair before coloring. Our Original Complete kits come with bleach to lighten daarker hair.

TIP #4 SHARE YOUR MAKEOVER SELFIE
