Finding the Right Dye-t
If you think of your hair as a blank canvas, the options for hair color are only limited by your imagination. Dip Dye, the two-tone color technique that has everyone on social media talking, puts the focal point on the bottom portion or ends of the hair. Vibrant color is applied to pre-lightened hair, usually from mid-shaft to ends, without any blending between the opposing color tones. Instead, a hard line separates the two so hair looks like it was “dipped” in color.
Split Dye is equally dramatic as hair is split down the middle and dyed two complementary colors. Think Cruella with her eye-catching, bold black and white tresses. This technique also provides an interesting twist on the money piece, allowing vibrant color on both sides of the split instead of a bright highlight to frame the face.
